Where to Buy Einkorn

One of the biggest questions that comes after reading about Einkorn wheat is “where do I get it?” Here are some of the go to places I use and I invite you to try their einkorn as well.

Einkorn Wheat Berries

I have tried multiple places, but Grand Teton Ancient Grains has won me hands down. Not only is this organic grain grown and harvested in our northwest state of Idaho, but the quality is superb. I don’t find extra husks throughout the bag; just fresh, bright wheat berries ready to grind. I grab a large bag to last us ( unground berries retain the nutrition longer!) and grab free shipping.

All Purpose Einkorn Flour and Whole Wheat Einkorn Flour

I also get my all-purpose flour from Grand Tetons Ancient Grains as I love purchasing a quantity but I will once in awhile purchase smaller quantities of Jovial Foods all-purpose einkorn flour through Azure Standard.

I must admit I haven’t ordered whole grain flour for a long time since beginning to grind my own flour from wheat berries. If you’re looking to purchase whole wheat einkorn either of these places are great.

Note that I’ve been a penny pincher before and tried to save a buck by ordering from a large health foods company using coupon codes. What a great price it was! The first attempt to ship it to me, I received word it had been damaged. The next attempted package also got damaged but I had to research to find this after several weeks. A month or so after ordering I finally cancelled my order. The moral to the story is that a deal is great only if you have the time to wait for it. My best experiences have been with the smaller businesses and those who focus their time on einkorn. Period.

Happy Shopping!
